Judy K. —Copy Editor and Indexer — Nonfiction

Judy has been a professional writer, editor, and indexer for more than 25 years and is the author of six books, one of which was bought by the Readers Digest Book Club. With a bachelor of journalism degree and a wide variety of experience, she helps corporate clients, universities, publishers, and independent authors prepare their writing projects for publication.

As an edited writer herself, Judy understands an author’s viewpoint. She meets deadlines and is thorough, creative, and kind with her criticism. She edits and indexes nonfiction works that do not include eroticism, violence, hatred, or New Age philosophies. She will proof fiction as well, particularly children’s books.

Before opening her own business, she worked as a newspaper reporter, public relations assistant, book editor, and information specialist. Judy lives in Houston .
